Quick Access Toolbar

The Quick Access Toolbar is located at the top left of the application window. It is always visible regardless of which Ribbon is selected.

The default icons are:

Open

Save

Import

Customize the Quick Access Toolbar

To customize the Quick Access Toolbar, select the button to view the Customize Quick Access Toolbar menu

·	The visible icons are listed with a check mark next to each. To add or remove icons, select More Commands...

Ø	To add commands to the Quick Access Toolbar:

Under Choose commands from: select the Ribbon from which you want to add commands, then select the particular command from the list that you want to add to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select Add>>

Ø	To remove commands to the Quick Access Toolbar:

Select the particular command from the list on the right that you want to remove from the Quick Access Toolbar. Select Remove>>

Ø	To add or remove Keyboard shortcuts:

Select the Customize... button towards the bottom of the window which will raise the following dialog which allows the current application shortcuts to be redefined, and new shortcut commands created

Select a Category and Command, then place the cursor in the "Press new shortcut key:" box. Press the shortcut key(s) on the keyboard which will automatically populate the box. If that shortcut is already assigned to a command, it will be displayed below the box. When satisfied, press Assign. To delete a shortcut, select the Category and Command and press Remove

·	Select Show Below the Ribbon to move the Quick Access Toolbar below the Ribbon. To move it back above the Ribbon, right click on the Quick Access Toolbar and select Show Quick Access Toolbar Above the Ribbon

·	Selecting Minimize the Ribbon will hide the icons within the ribbon to take up less space. Left click on the Ribbon name to temporarily show it. The option to minimize and maximize the Ribbon is also available as a small arrow to the left of the Help menu:
