Overview

·To display the Task Properties window, (typically at the right of the SYNCHRO screen) if it is not already displayed, either:
oSelect Windows->Task Properties
oDouble-left-click on the line of a Task in the Gantt chart (This also centers the task in the Gantt Chart), or,
oRight-click within the Gantt window (The Tasks list or the Gantt chart) and then select Task Properties from the context menu.

The Task Properties window can be displayed in a vertical or horizontal layout. By default it opens on the right side of the screen (docked with the other Properties windows) in a vertical layout. Undock the window and drag and drop to the bottom of the application using the Smart Placement icons and the window will be reconfigured for a horizontal layout.  When resizing the window, horizontal layout will be used when the width is greater than the height. In horizontal layout the tab names are visible, while in vertical layout they are not -  in vertical layout, hover over the tab icon to see the tab name.

The Task Properties window displays information relating to an individual Task via the following tabs:

11. EVA
13. Notes
15. Issues

Right click over the tabs to access the context menu and uncheck any tabs you wish to hide.

Tabs can also be reordered by left clicking the tab and using drag and drop to the new location.

The right click menu also provides quick access to the Help topic related to the tab over which the right click was made.

The Task Properties window displays the following information for the selected task. These properties can also be added as columns to the Task List:
